Do We Get Him? (part 2)

The “He Gets Us” ad campaign presents foot washing as the supreme example of humility, unity, and service, but the Biblical illustration of foot washing has 2 aspects to it: (1) humble service and (2) the cleansing that Jesus provides. A better illustration to use for general calls to humble service would be the story of the Good Samaritan.
